FEELING SO GUILTY

JUST FEELING SO TERRIBLE FOR PUTTING OUR NEW ADOPTEES 5 HOURS AT VETS OFFICE. HOPING WE DID THE RIGHT THING.

FARRIER MET US THERE AND HAD TO DO WORK ON THERE FEET. THEY GOT A CHECK OVER AND HAD TO BE SEDATED AND HAVE WORK DONE ON THEIR TEETH AND THEN GET THEIR EWT.

SO AFTER 5 HOURS THEY HAD SORE FEET, SORE MOUTHS AND SORE BUTTS. A LOT TO GO THROUGH RIGHT AFTER GOING TO A NEW HOME.

JUST FEEL TERRIBLE FOR PUTTING THEM THROUGH THAT ORDEAL. I TRIED WITH VET TO SAY IF HE HAD OTHER APPOINTMENTS I COULD BRING THEM BACK BUT IT WAS A SLOW DAY FOR HIM AND NO EMERGENCY EQUINES, WHICH IS UNUSUAL. HE SAID IT WAS A GOOD THING WE WERE NOT SCHEDULES A COUPLE OF WEEKS FROM NOW THOUGH WHEN FOALING SEASON STARTS. THEN IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HARD.

HOPING ALL WE DID WILL HELP THEM.

Sandy... you are doing what is best for them. They will forgive you if you give them a few treats and a nice curry and brush.

[SIZE=14pt]Sandy, if they were your people children and you had to take them for physicals and vaccinations and to the dentist you would do it for their own good even if you knew they hated it.... it is to make sure they get the best start and then easier followup if they ever need more help. You are a great "mom" so just give them extra kisses and all will be well.[/SIZE]

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH LYN I ,YOU COULDNT BE DOING MORE, THATS WHY YOU HAVE FOUND THESE BABIES,OR SHOULD I SAY THEY FOUND YOU, YOU ARE GREAT PEOPLE FOR DOING THIS, YOU WILL GET SO MUCH BACK WHEN YOU SEE HOW WELL THEY ARE DOING FROM YOUR CARE,IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE IF THESE BABIES HAD OF WENT TO THE WRONG HOME, WELL DONE I APPLAUD YOU BOTH FOR YOUR BIG HEARTS

Sandy 5 hours is nothing compared to the rest of their lives with you and Jim in their new forever home.

Don't you ever feel guilty by being so unselfish and adopting these two little ones for Zoey!

Soon as they get "HOME" they are going to realize that they could not be in a better place.

Agree with Marty - five hours is nothing compared to what they would have before you came into their lives. Sending best wishes that all will be well now.
