We got over a foot of wet heavy snow last night so Carl had to get out his old 1952 Allis Chalmers and try to plow us out to the barn. He got the horses fed and now is trying to get so we can get out if we have to.

SO how was YOUR Superbowl Sunday! Hey go vote on Equusite and vote for Lil SHortcake today:) Go Steelers!

We only got about 4" here - very wet and heavy stuff. You can keep that foot up there. I'm ready for summer!

Man we're sure ready for Spring too..whew! Lil SHortcake was dragging through it , Shadow ok.

Carl hand shoveled from the turn out shed a path to the back door of the barn where they go into the stall areas for their water. I told him they'd be fine but he worries about her little feet slipping, you know how dad's are:)It's windy too. But they stay out a lot, not in and even had some little icycles on them which Carl had to almost clip off.

Luna the Lab said "drat!" when I let her out this am for potty duty. She used to jump out and snowplow and play with her head and nose but 12 yrs now and all she does is out and in when it's like this. Me? I don't get farther out than the garage door:) Unless they need me out there.

It's all stopped now, just hanging heavily on the Pine trees. A few fishing shanties out but no-one there at them.

Soon we'll hunker down for football and stay in till feeding time. Thanks for all those votes

Stay warm, Maxine

Oh that looks beautiful!

Hey can your tractor come here and pull the windkilled trees up out of the creek so we can cut them up and get them burned and/or chopped for firewood? ;)

Go Seahawks! (even though I am not a sports fanatic, we gotta root for the "closest to home" team)

Same here, we got close to a foot of this good old white stuff! .....and the roads were horrible. I am so waiting for spring! But i guess we cant complain all that much considering we have had mild weather and not our usual few feet of snow.
