First foal of the season

[Allure Ranch]

Well here's the first foal of the season.... He foaled out on March 18th at 4:58 a.m. with a 7.75 inch cannon bone.

 

He's a little sleepy in the photos....

 

"Marystown Cowboy Wild Spirit" x "Hallmarks Boomers Bianca"

 

His Great Grandsire on his sire and dams side are Boones Little Andy, Cross Country Call Me Sir and Glenns General Patton.

I wish.... That's actually what we just call our yard. We have 17 acres and the grass is just finally starting to pop around here. I've been trying to keep the horses off of it and in their paddocks so it can take root real good before I let them all out on it. Needless to say I couldn't resist with the baby though.
