Hello there! I have Flat Stanley arriving yesterday and just wanted to make sure he got there ok? It was kind of a long trip for the poor little guy.

Rabbit, Did he arrive ok?

Yes he arrived yesterday. He was feeling a little flattened by the journey so he had a rest today, but he's perked up now and is ready for an adventure. HOWEVER today we had the first real rain we have had in six months and I feel outside conditions are a little hazardous for one of his make up so he will have to wait a day or so until I can make waterproofs to fit him. This is going to be fun!!!

I was going to say he had a marvelous time but was in knead of a wash!!!

Yes, I meant to go have him laminated before I sent him off, but when I got there, I was on a time limit to get him into their system or it would be another day. so, I rushed. Flat Stanely is not rainproof and it is all my fault. Bad surrogate mommy!

I should have just sent a slicker with him huh?

I am so glad to hear he arrived safe adn in good health though. Thank you! Have fun!!! And give our boy a hug from his boy Matthew. :bgrin

Good idea Rebecca, I had meant to post the order of visitation. I tried to do it so that the longest travel time was over in the beginning. Then I went to the next closest person. Trying again to keep down the travel time.

So, right now he is in England with Rabbit and just to scare all of us US'ers really good, when I sent him, the gal behind the counter asked me if England was anywhere near the UK? OMG@!!!! :new_shocked:

From Rabbit he will go to Canada and visit Relic

Then head on out to Dimimore in NY.

From there he goes on a little jump to PA and stays with jdomep.

After his visit he packs up and heads out to Bluerocket in KY.

When she tires of his endless talking and storytelling she will ship his little flat behind off to RNR (Rebecca) in MO.

Then Skiing at Vale in Colorado with Feather1414. LOL

And his final desitination, only because she is closest to me, is,

Oregon and a stay at the Oceanside with Nootka.

He and I had a long talk before we packed about manners and not overstaying his welcome so you all just make sure he stays on his best behavior. And thank you again so very much!! This is so exciting for my son (me too) and he keeps asking me where Flat Stanley is and what he is doing.

We have over a month to get this whole thing done so don't worry too much about time. He has to be back to me by April 23rd so we can take hm back to school on the 24th. That is over two months so I think there is plenty of time for the whole trip.

Well I am excited about Flat Stanley's visit. I have the guest room all ready. I guess he and I will do some bonding (laminiating) also. Gotta keep him in top shape, so to speak. Let us know his fun Jane, and I look forward to meeting him.

Ahhh no guest room for Flat Stanley here but we'll make him up a nice warm box when he arrives.

We called the local mounties and they are very excited to get a visit from him on his brief stay here they just hope :risa8: he's on the straight and narrow and not to shady. :risa8: :bgrin
