This is Mrs Ester Stace, clearing a 6'6" fence at the Royal Easter Show in 1915. Notice she is riding side saddle. Incredible equestrienne and mount!

OMG! I can't even imagine riding sidesaddle, much less doing so while jumping.

That is so cool. I have heard riding aside is safer and more secure than riding astride but it looks super scary to me.
