We attended the funeral of Greg Cloud today. My husband is a firefighter and they sent out notices for firefighters to attend as they had a fireman's funeral for him. It was amazing to see the number of people in attendance. Just guessing I would say there were over 500 firefighters there. That's not including any of the family and friends that were there. It was held in a high school gymnasium. My husband said he was told there were over 100 fire trucks there. He said there were firefighters there from Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. One from north of Warsaw, IN. It was very emotional because the Chief from Kent Fire Department and then the Chief from Madison that was injured both got up and spoke. They took him to the cemetery on one of Kent's firetrucks. It was unbelievable to see the people that had come to the funeral, then the streets were lined with people that had come out of houses and businesses to watch as the procession went by going to the cemetery.

We will continue to keep the Ebert family, Cloud family and Black family in our thoughts and prayers.

Such a horrible thing to have happen. I had a little sister killed in a fire, I know how terrible it is, such a waste. Bless all the fire fighters, they are such hero's. All family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

What a wonderful tribute to Greg Cloud!! There is an untold caring amongst people in the fire service and it is so meaningful. God Bless his family.
