We had our 10 year old grandson before Easter. One of his favorite things to do when he visits us to to go geocaching. We gave him a GPS for Christmas one year--money well spent! So Grandpa, Uncle and grandson hit the geocache trail and had a great time. They found 5 caches this time, and redid one of theirs that had been washed away in a flood. They put a travel bug and geo coin in it. They enjoyed the hiking and saw some great scenery and wildlife.

Grandson is planning to set up one in his town library.

If you go to this link, click on Hide and Seek, type in your zip code, you can find all the ones near you.

Thank you for the link! I have been interested in this activity for a while. Our family does a lot of traveling and camping, and I thought this would be a great activity to incorporate. I'm going to have to look into this - and there are A LOT of listings very close to us to start with!

Thanks!

Barbara

We were pertty active with Geocaching at one point, just have not had the time lately. It is fun and can be addictive!

Another geocaching family here. We have geocached from Pa to Utah and in between. Just got another cache last weekend. Well, the daughter did, I was stuck in the car with a broken leg.

We love geocaching.
