So remember a while back I asked about RNs. While after thinking alot I have decided to go back to school to become and RN. I am very excited and I start classes in Jan. In may of 2011 I will graduate. But I am stressing out sooo much. You know they sure dont make it easy to go back to school. I am trying to figure out how to pay for school, how to work and still go to school, and how to work part time to go to class and still pay the bills. I know I can get finacial aid but I am not planning on doing that till I go full time in Aug. I have to take a couple of classes in Jan-may so am going to just pay that out of pocket. I have enough student loans with my bacholors degree that I really am trying to cut down on making it more. I have been trying to sell some horses but of course thats not working out very well.

Sorry just wanted to vent a little and hope that someone else here on the forum has tried going back to school and knows what I'm going through.

But like I said, I am sooo excited about doing this and even though its going to be tough I'm going to make sure I make it through and become and awesome nurse!

Good luck-you will be fine.I went back to college at age 45 because I wanted to own my own construction company.I hadn't been in college since I was 20 when I graduated and became a teacher.Studying was difficult , but I managed to have my own company ans have been with my carpentry teacher for almost 25 years. The health care field is the place where jobs are almost guaranteed. You go girl and good luck.

My sister is an RN. She can get a job just about anywhere. She makes a lot too. She always drives a near new car. She bought a house. She can always afford to take a vacation. She also manages the $$$ of her husbands meds (he has Alzheimer's). I really admire people that can manage to go back to school and actually do something with the degree they are getting.
