Have not tried this product. However, I have had wonderful results from just flaxseed -- all colors become more intense. Plus, over the years I've developed the opinion that minis are rarely as dark pally as the big ones, many more light Isabellas. They do seem to darken with age but, only a shade or two. Some years they seem darker than others
or hold color more?
Suffice to say, color is an area where minis play by their own design. This year I see all of my pally & pally pintos displaying a richer color.
Yep, actually "see" the pinto areas, and the two solids are colored up so that you immediately say, palomino vice yellowed white.
The guy in my avatar is a pally -- body clipped there -- but he is nicely colored this year with a light gold, as are two of his solid pally kids. He was pretty dark that year, at 6 y/o, or he'd have looked solid white when shaved. Same issues with his sire, Indian Snow, whom we had to clip about a week prior to any show to get rid of the pink and the "shadow" of pinto.
