We are still moving. Joe has been in his new job in Georgia since November. I will most likely be moving down in May or June...as soon as I get my replacement at work broke in...I hope this one works out.

But...if all goes as planned.... WE ARE GOING TO KEEP THE FARM! We bought this place when Joe retired from the Navy and we have decided to move our daughter and her family in and let them enjoy it for a few years and eventually we will be back.

WOW!

All I can say is.........dreams do come true!

Now just when can I expect you to drop UP when passing through to Georga?

Good for you!! That's wonderful news! Will they keep the rest of the horses too?

Once my job is filled and I am released and free again, I will come up and visit you, Marty, and the Prancers. I'm also planning on farming myself out for a few days or maybe even a week or so to let someone I know take a much needed vacation so I can play with her minis....I may even make it to a second farm up north that needs a stand in once in awhile.

Lisa....we are sadly still planning on selling the horses. They can't go with us and although my daughter knows my horses she never really got into them. She has offered to keep them if they don't sell. I have been careful to find good homes for them...people who really like them and want them....each one. I know I still think about keeping the three we have left, but I will never breed again. So it wouldn't work out to keep Paint. She is in a pasture by herself and I can see that she is very lonely. She is even hanging out by the cows in the neighboring field when they come near. It isn't fair to her. She is young and needs to have more foals...she enjoys it. Of course she would make a nice cart horse and someday I will have one again. But only one or two not the herd we had. Hmmm, Charly would make a good candidate in a few years...so I guess if I kept just one, it would be our baby. Although, Fred would just have to stay to keep him in line and keep him company. Hey, I can dream another dream...cause sometimes we have to careful what we wish for and sometimes dreams do come true. lol

Lois, that is WONDERFUL news!!!!! You have such a nice place there, I understand how it was so hard for you to let it go. :aktion033:
