Ok, so if the union isnt able to get my my job back and if a lawyer dont think I have a chance at sueing and winning I am looking vo move to another state.

Tell me about your state. Cost of living, job avalibility? things like that. I would be just me moving so wouldnt need a huge place to live, but would need a good shot at getting a job.

What kind of job?Do you have any special talents or qualifications?I live in Delaware no sales tax and LOTS of horse people of all breeds, excellent vets and farriers, horse shows almost every weekend in our state. You can drive the entire length of the state in3 hours and the width in less than 1 hour.Near the Atlantic Ocean and great camping and fishing and beaches. Low crime rate Very flat not much extreme weather(no tornados) tails end of hurricanes and blizzards(except this past winter)Great place to live No posionous snakes. I was born here-thought maybe I should move- travelled a lot and decided it is a really GREAT place to live.

I love Western Oregon but there are no jobs. Is why DH looked for jobs in other states. He will be heading to Virginia soon for a new job. Then on to finding a place we can move too.

It really depends on what your skill sets are, to what state might have jobs for you.

I am trying to finish up my 4 year in Criminal Justice, but I do have my 2 year in criminal justice. Last job was corrections and that is what I like but not sure if I will beable to work in that field anymore. I want to do probation work when done with my education.

Should be able to find something like that here in Delaware. There is an excellent school here in Dover to finish your degree.Even weekend classes are given.Daughter of my S OTHER took that route-got a job as corrections officer and now is Parole&Probation officer.

Ohio is a pretty great state! We live in Central Ohio. While the economy has taken a hit here, too, definitely not as bad as some places. Where I live, we actually have two prisons, so if you wanted to look into corrections, there is that available. I'm not sure about probation work, although I have a friend who is a probation officer.

Cost of living is pretty reasonable. We have all four seasons, and nothing too extreme. Usually quite a bit of snow in February and it can get cold, but not as cold as some places! You have everything from wooded hills to flat farmland to the Lake Erie shoreline.

We're pretty happy here, but love traveling and seeing new places, too!

Good luck!

Barbara
