I have a surrey and a spring wagon that need to be restored and was wondering if anybody has an idea where I could get some replacement parts. I need a dashboard or the leather insert for the surrey as well as the glass for the lamps.

The spring wagon needs some of the hardware replaced.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mary

The is a very good parts source right in Texas just south of you. I will ferret out the info and PM you. If you tell me exactly what you need I have a great source within minutes of my home and will be glad to do it this way as well.

Do you live around any Amish communities? I know some(I think most) of them make carriages/buggies. I don't know if they sell parts or not, but I'm sure if you asked nicely they wouldn't mind selling you a few things.

Mary,

I realize this shop won't be terribly close to you, but...

www.engelscoachshop.com in Joliet, MT has parts and does restoration. I'm pretty sure they are the shop that makes the coaches for Yellowstone Park. I ordered their catalog, as some isn't not on-line, yet. They seem to have just about everything and if you don' t see it, they can probably make it for you.
