Have you ever refused a sale?

I have seen, on this forum, more than once, people that have traded their horses for someone else's and those same people expressing sadness/shock over what bad condition the horse they got out of the trade was in.

And I just cannot help but wonder how in the WORLD they could trade one of their own horses INTO that same situation - it makes me ill!

This thread and some of the horror stories both pictures and written have really convinced me more breeding is really not for me. The selling is the hardest and scariest part. I have been very very lucky so far. I am still in touch with almost all buyers of my horses over the years and have gotten updates and pictures on most of them and they all look great and seem to have happy homes but... the possibilities are just frightning
