The man who owns the company Harvey has worked for for 18 years has had a major tragedy. His son, who was just a little boy, died this week from Lukemia. They've known for several months that the last treatment available did not work and that he would pass.

Harvey and his co-workers were supposed to go to the wake this evening, and the company was closed for the funeral tomorrow, however the owner called his office to say they cannot see people outside of the family tonight or tomorrow.

My heart goes out to them so much. I just can't even begin to imagine what it has bee like to live in their shoes and what it's like now. I don't know how people live and carry on after this kind of tragedy.

Well, I will definitely pray for this family, Jill. I can't imagine what they are going through right now, but I know the God of all comfort.

Oh my, I can't imagine the depth of their grief either, how horrible for them.

Sending good thoughts and prayers to that poor family...

How terribly tragic. It's just not right to lose a child. I will say a prayer for the family.

Just makes me cry. It's been an emotional day here because my MIL's husband has a tumor and we have to wait to see if it's cancerous. I swear I hate cancer more than anything else in this world.

I've lost too many family members to it and I absolutely HATE HATE HATE seeing children dying of it!!!!

I am like you in that I cannot fathom such a loss and fear it with all my heart.

I hope they can find some measure of comfort in their loss, and know that their little boy is no longer hurting. I wish things had been different. This is the kind of loss that noone should have to suffer.
