Hello from Manitoba

Good morning, I am new here, new to mini's and new to foals. I run a horse rescue in Manitoba and do not have any experience with mini's. This winter we have had 16 mini's surrendered to us and I felt like it was time I learn about them. Yesterday we had our first foal and she is being rejected by her momma. I found this site searching for ways to resolve the issue. Happy to be here.

Hi Manitoba! There's not a lot of us northerners here but I'm from Alberta and glad to have you join in. I've found this place is full of wonderful, kind enablers who are a wealth of support and information.

Best wishes with your herd and new little one. I think the same rules apply to littles as it does to regular-sized horses - just in smaller quantities!
