My class has a subscription to the kid's magazine, Time For Kids. There large as life on the back cover is an article about Panda, the guide pony.

I think its about time we stopped posting every mention in the world about the guide horses. You are only preaching to the choir here. Repeatedly posting and debating this issue here is not going to change anything, only debate among the REST of the world is going to bring about that change... Perhaps its time to move on to more productive manners of dealing with our dislike of this issue.

Sorry - thought it was noteworthy being as it was printed in a publication for kids that kids across the country are going to read and share with their families who probably don't know much if anything about guide ponies, or ponies in general, and that some of us may need to be on the lookout for the article and sharing the other side of the guide pony issue with our children/students.
