On 7/5 my appendix burst and I laid on my couch 2 days (not recommended) before going to the hospital

well after a week in the hospital and 5 more weeks on my couch I'm back to work and although still a little slow, I definitely missed most of the summer , although with the heat it was a good summer to miss most of.

Just wanted to say hi and sorry if I missed alot of babies being born and all thats been going on here.

But at least I'm back to health in time to watch Nationals

Hey to you all and wishing a safe trip and a great time to all who are going

Lori

Glad you're feeling better!!!!

Several years back, I did the same thing. Waited from Thursday until Monday to go to the doctor. By then things were bad. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Take care and welcome back!!!

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend. This summer in NJ was definitely a summer to stay in the cool AC. I was out in it, took plenty of breaks and headed indoors when it got unbearable which was almost every day. The horses enjoyed it tho as they didn't have to work, they stayed under the shade trees in the corrals and were fine with being labeled pasture potatoes. Today is just gorgeous outside tho...a prelude to fall and we're loving it!

Oh my gosh, Lori! You have been really sick!!! I'm happy you are doing better now and I'm glad to see you back on LB!!!

Goodness, I'm sorry that happened. Glad you are feeling better and getting back to normal.

Thanks everyone I'm good now a little slow yet but doing really good

Barbie I feel for you having done the same thing as I did , thinking it will go away just stomach pain and the fever really helped me sleep those 2 days away

OMG I'm so sorry that happened and that you've been through all of that!! I'm glad you're back and on the mend.

Welcome HOME!

I wonder why it is that we procrastinate like we do. If it were a family member or our horses we'd have medical help a whole lot quicker than we do if it's for ourselves. Sure glad you didn't wait longer than you did and that you're ok now.

OMG!!

Glad you're not taking a 'dirt nap'! That can certainly be bad for you. Glad you are ok and on the mend! Hopefully you will be 100% in no time!
