Thank you. I’ve had horses for fifty years and had never heard of it until I had to put one down and only had one horse. Praying she comes around

My horse is 12. The owner of the pony passed away and the family really doesn’t know. She is older, possibly 20.

Hopefully your horse feels the confidence with your new wee one to lay down and get the rest she needs. I have a buckskin quarter horse who will often lay down close to the fence where my mini donkey lives. The quarter horse will sleep while the donkey watches over him from the other side of the fence. Hey, it's what works... Never mind the other 6 geldings in the herd, he feels better with his *** hanging around!!!
