Mom said we have to wait until summer anyway. I did however get a new coat that I had been wanting/needing plus lots of other goodies.

For those of you who have already opened your gifts....whats one thing you got that you asked for or had been hoping for??

I got exactly what I've been hoping for for a very long time, a cricut machine. I can't wait to get started using it for next year's Christmas creations.

my hubby got me a nook.. the one with 3g and wifi :p

hubby got a duffle bag with new clothes and a bunch of other stuff for when he is on the road driving ( he made it home this year !! YAY!)

the girls got zuzu pets, a train, a little stuffed horse that they can sit on, lots of clothes, lol and much more.

someone left a bunch of stuff on our porch yesterday, so the girls made out like bandits lol

Both my brother and sister got a laptop the year before they left home, so this year I got a lovely laptop as well!! I can now take all my note at college without wasting paper!

Something I didn't expect but am very excited about is a starters knitting kit!

Well, we got our New Grand Stow N Go Dodge Van so did not expect too much.

But hubby got us a GPS to help us travel around in it.

My daughter and son-in-law, got us some scratch tickets, won $20.00 and some things for my hair, shampoo, special treatment for dry hair and styling spray.

They had us over, for Turkey dinner, I did not have to lift a finger only to eat the wonderful meal.

It was a great family day..

Since both Deb and I are not living near any family now (moved 3000 miles from mine in September

), we decided to do something different for Christmas this year. Instead of buying gifts for each other, we spent the day at Disney World Magic Kingdom!!

The weather was perfect...about 70 and sunny! It was VERY crowded, tho, which made it hard to really appreciate the park and its "Magic". Didn't see Mickey (which bummed me out...lol), but did see Santa!!

The lines were pretty long, but went on Space Mountain, Pirates Of the Caribbean and It's A Small World. Saw parts of the parades they had every 2 hours. Saw the Castle and the town light up as it started to get dark. Bought a new Christmas ornament with "Santa" Mickey and Minnie with 2010 on it for our "memories".

Talked to my parents, kids and siblings on the phone yesterday as well...My kids said they mailed our gifts yesterday, so we'll get them after the 1st...

LOL!!

Now that I need to cut down on my coffee intake I got a Tassimo maker. I wanted the Keurig as they are easier to get coffee for, but Lori thought the Tassio was more cool. I also got pjs with the feet on like when we were kids. My rainbow hat and mittens, clothes, and a popcorn popper(the old fashion kind).

I got money and gift cards, which is what I REALLY needed this year.

My poor dogs got a bad case of ringworm- I adopted two kittens three weeks ago from a friend and guess what THEY had?

Received no gifts this year but I am visiting with my DH for the first time in 6 months! Is the best gift possible!

My presents from Kevin this year were dinner at my favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto followed by the Brandon Flowers concert and a really nice winter jacket from Club Monaco. And, our yearly trip to Mexico, too

My mom got me a really cool Chef's Mandolin from William's Sonoma. My dad got me new stout brown chunk toe Blundstones. And I got some gift cards to Coles as I'm a huge book lover. A bit spoiled...I know

The one really cool thing I got this year from hubby is a creeper stool. It is a pneumatic stool (goes up or down in height) on wheels with a tray under the seat. I will use it when I am grooming or clipping my horses to keep from feeling so crippled afterwards lol.
