My husband, as one of my Christmas gifts, started a layaway plan for a hyperbike for me. I need to decide on the specifics that I want. Have any of you purchased the conversion upgrade to use the cart on different size minis? If so, have you been happy with it? Does it add alot of extra weight to the cart? Just let me know your thoughts on it, THANKS!

Geez, I know the specific upgrade I want, LOL, I'll take a husband as thoughtful as yours OK. Can be used and need repairs, or just an ad-on for the one I've got would work too,

Yay, a new cart for Christmas!! That's so exciting! I'm not familiar with the conversion upgrade per say but nothing Bob offers adds a lot of weight. He's very careful to integrate all his designs smoothly and I would trust his opinion on what you need for the sizes of horse you may have. Ask him!

Listen to Leia, call Bob. He is very nice and will tell you everything you want to know about hyperbikes. You can get some other valuable conversation and tips along the way. I totally have really enjoyed my chats with Bob.

The layaway plan is great. I am now $395 away from being a hyperbike owner. I decided to let Bob do my saving for me. I put a little bit of money in my hyperbike jug I keep in the kitchen every day. When I get $100 saved I am sending a check to Bob. Amazing how fast pocket change adds up. My kids are into it too, I swear some additional dollars have been dropped into my hyperbike fund jug more recently. Another trick for saving I have tried... I got some gift cards for Christmas. I spend the gift card on the family and put the same amount of money into my hyperbike fund. Seems fair to me. They get a Boscovs shopping experience and I get hyperbike money. Gotta get Bob to start offering hyperbike gift certificates. LOL. Best wishes!

Carolyn,

I wasn't aware of a conversion kit either. Do you mean the way that you can adjust the wheels with different callouts? If so that doesn't add any weight. Congrats on your layaway plan for your 'Bike!

We got hit with a blizzard the day after Christmas and got another 8 inches of snow yesterday. I have been able to keep the horses lungeing and ground driving a bit.
