Next is a pic. of my little birdy boy Echo - this guy is a hoot! ( He is a Timneh Grey ) He is thinking here - WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?

These are our cockatiels - Twinkie and Cricket, taking it easy. ( If you are a birdy person you can probably tell that Cricket doesnt feel to well - Echo had just nipped his toe. ) BAD BIRD MOM FOR LETTING THAT HAPPEN! :nono:

Cute pics, I love birds. My sister and her husband had two Timnehs...one of them was the BIGGEST character. He'd say, just like a grumpy old man, "Weelllllll I guess I....gotta go to work!"

*LOL*

Was sad, though, we took him in after my brother in law was killed suddenly, and my sister couldn't manage him, and he would say "Bernie" in her voice (that was his name). He found a nice home, though, eventually.

They are amazing birds, to be sure.

Neat pic of you and your girl, too.

Thanks for sharing them!

Thank you Liz, I am glad you enjoyed them. :aktion033: The African and Timneh Greys are notably the smartest and best of the talking parrots. I bought my Echo from Corinne of Meadowridge Farms. I love him - needless to say! I have a link to the COOLEST video that I would love to post here - but I dont know how!

I love birds! Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures. Our birds are all the wild ones out on the birdfeeder. Thinking of which, they need the seed filled back up again. I love that last picture of Twinkie...so cute!

Well, you can give Echo a kissie from his old Mom, he is such a little smartie pants! I have Clyde, hes my mini mccaw, and Cheeta, she is a huge amazon, sitting here ...still in there cages wanting out. Clyde is waiting for his orange juice. Cheeta ...lord knows, what she wants! I love them! What fun! After I either retire or win the lottery, I'd love to get a large bird. I've always loved the Greys, but I do like the Toos too. We have one Tiel, LuLu, and she is just a blast.

: Very nice I have a grey who let me live with him. but he's such a nag. Every night when he's ready for bed he says " Good night it's birdie bye." If I don't comply right then he says ir until I cover him and cut the lights our and the TV off. Well since the Olypmics have been on I've had to fool him. I cut out the lights and cover him and put my ear phones in. And first thing every morning it's "goodmorning" until I give him peanuts.

I have the wild birds too mountain_waif, to save money though - I recycle my used pet bird feed, I add a little fresh seed to that and that is what I put out in to the outside feeders. It works great and saves me tons of money. Glad you enjoyed the pictures!
