I bought a mini weanling in the fall that was a palio but now is changing!

Her in the fall.

Her hair is just starting to come in and it's changing! Almost chocolate color hairs over white/cream.

(She is holding her head very weird in this shot)

You definitely got the SILVER gene working and looks like appy markings on her nose and around her eye. Does she have appy behind her too?

Well both her dad and mom are Leopard Appy's, both White with brown spots and socks. She has a couple of brown spots on her butt and under her mane.

I will have to post a picture later in he year so we can see what she will look like then. She almost seems to be looking like a pinto the way that her color is coming in. All in good time I guess.

She is still changing!

Her darker hair is definitely a sorrel/red color now except for her spots that are a dark brown almost black color.

Silver dapples or silver horses go thru many different color changes both as they age and even as the seasons change.

Those darker hairs (not her spots) are still silver we had a gelding who would go from a dark gun metal gray- to sometimes looking like the ends of the hairs were burnt red/brown other times being very silvery and dapply. It is a wonderful color that always seems to bring different looks
