Oh goodness, and here I thought y'all were getting tired of me and Faith :bgrin
She's doing wonderfully! The saddle sore is finally healing and is looking a LOT better. Her fur's getting so long that I can barely see her backbone now, but I can still easily feel it. I did get a little bit of that one foot picked out today, before she decided to lay on my head, LOL. She's fine with the rest of her feet, but that one still gives her trouble. She's getting her first pedicure tomorrow! Her little toesies are getting long, so they need a trim and Rebecca (RNR) is nice enough to come and do it for her, and also check her teeth to try and get an age on her. She's bringing Jamie (JMS Miniatures) with her, so maybe I'll get some nice pics of everyone :bgrin
She got her first Christmas present on Monday :aktion033: A HUGE thank you to mini_lover (Shannon) for her new nylon hay bag and Christmas ornament! Faith LOVES the hay bag, and my girls went crazy over the ornament, giving it a great spot on the tree. And she got her first blanket today. I got it off of ebay and it's adorable, with fishies all over it, LOL. It's a little big so I need to do some work on it, but once she fills out it should fit her nicely. Maybe we can get her to model it for a picture tomorrow.
Now for some strange news, and a prayer request. The people that I got her from are actually telling people that she died
: They're saying that someone came to look at her one day and said she "didn't have much longer" and the next day she died. How odd is that? I can't understand why they can't just say that they sold her because she didn't fit their needs or something like that. Also, the rumor is that they're getting another horse, supposed to be about 18hh from what they've said. They say that they're working with a rescue to take in and "rehabilitate" horses. If that's their version of rehab, I'd hate to see what they think is abuse. Their dogs are starting to get hungry now, digging in the neighbor's trash. Please keep these people, and whatever "rescue" they might be working with, in your prayers. If they couldn't afford to feed Faith, they sure can't afford to feed a bigger horse
I'll definately get new pictures tomorrow. I've missed my 3rd week deadline and my camera finger is getting itchy! Thanks for asking, and caring
