So, I've been feeling pretty sorry for myself this week. I have a nasty cold that has kept me from sleeping at night and is making my days a bit miserable but... I answered the phone a while ago and someone wondered if I like Toby Keith. Well, my answer was I like all country music (not entirely true of course but in general I like it) So they offered me FREE tickets for my husband, myself and my special needs daughter to go to a Toby Keith concert this Friday

His opening act will be George Canyon I'm told. Of course I accepted, said even if I was still sick I would sure be there, if I get sicker ...well, they can wheel me in on my stretcher lol. Sometimes things happen to help lift the February doldrums and help get past feeling cruddy, this is one of those times.

Just had to share because I am so looking forward to it.

Isn't it odd how the shortest month on the calendar seems the longest to get thro? I am so over winter this year, its been what people around here call "a real old fashioned winter" lol. Based on stories our grandparents always told about walking to school in blizzards going up hill both ways

'chuckle' Today at least the sun is shining but man its cold.

So, how was it? Did you have a good time?

I'd love to see Toby Keith again, saw him about a dozen years ago at the fairgrounds in Loveland, CO. We had nose bleed seats, and you could still tell he's a big guy. Show was awesome.

The show WAS awesome!! The opening act was 'One More Girl' followed by a very good looking Canadian boy, George Canyon then Toby Keith. Toby Keith puts on one heck of a show and I am sore throated (from cheering), sore handed(from clapping)and slightly deafer than I was before I went. If anyone gets a chance to see Toby Keith in concert I just want to say it is soo worth it and if George Canyon is opening for him ...well, that's just a bonus, definitely eye candy
