my oldest was a piece of cake.....pretty much decided he was going to" go potty like a big boy" and that was that. My youngest however was against it from the beginning...started keeping a potty chair in the bathroom when he was nearing 2.....he was determined to wear diapers forever...LOL ...so the spring of his 3rd birthday I took away diapers gave him a huge basket of big boy undies and in the end he went butt nude all summer

: but he would pee on the floor at times like the dog and just look at me. He did finally get it down pretty good and entered preschool at age 3 in the fall.......I did make him clean up after himself and that seemed to help. He was different though as he had periodic night time accidents for years....like up to around age 8. we never make a big deal out of it.....not like dogs and cats haven't pee'd on things puked on things yorked up hairballs etc.... :bgrin :bgrin :bgrin just clean it up and move on.
I am noticing a trend here with the boys......seems naked is the real trick :bgrin :bgrin
OH are you sure you want him trained.....my youngest developed a delightful habit once he figured it out......he loved to check out public restrooms and if he had to poo, he would go in strip naked and sing at the top of his lungs
...it was one thing for him to do this at home but at a restaraunt or store
