Thank you for that Marty!! Finally got around to commenting. Had to watch several times to jot comments.
Aaahhhh, McKenzie!! To me, she epitomizes everything a German Shepherd should be. Zest for life, joyful, intelligent, a true partner! She galump, galump, galumps around....and makes my heart ache with missing having a GSD of my own. My mother, my grandmother and my great-grandmother (maternal side all) bred Shepherds. One of the earliest memories I have is sitting with Duke, my gramma's stud dog, at his dish full of Purina dog chow. "One fo' ou Duke, one fo' me" and that big ole dog so daintily taking that kibble from my little fingers. Gaaaahh, the things I did to that poor gentleman!! Turning eyelids inside out to see if he was awake, fingers grasping his scruff to help me balance (I was just learning to walk), making him pull treats off the table for me......he was the greatest!! McKenzie reminds me of him very, very much.
Mary Beth seems to put up with the scrunchies to get the hip-scrub payoff at the end. She looked a little irritated that you quit before she was done being scrubbed!
Glory just seemed to be a prim little diva enjoying the attention.
Chrissy seems to be more the model type--she definitely loves the camera and watched to be sure it stayed on her!
Star Flight likes the camera too, but more of as a remembrance grabber than diva-ish. She could do without the static though!! Is she a little jealous of McKenzie? Seemed to be a bit of "oh, gawd, the bratty little sister!" to her expression.
That last mare was all business, wasn't she?
And Angel just supervised it all!
