I have been reading and researching wormers, does this seem good? I have not found any info on the Oxibendazol, is it ok? Or should I stick with alternating Bimectin and Strongid? Of just use one or the other? This will be for 2 non pregnant , non showing pet minis. Thanks

Oxybendazole is the same family as Fenbendazole (Panacur) and is pretty useless as a single dose wormer.

There is little or no point in rotating at random.

You need to worm for encysted small strongyles in Spring and Autumn- which is a Fenbendazole five day course- and then you need to worm for Bots with Ivermectin and Tapeworms with Praziquantel (you can do this with a combi-wormer) in the Autumn after the first hard frost and the next worming after the Fenbendazole.

If you go to the "Best of...." Forum you will find all the info you need but just looking at the chemicals you are mixing up there I would say No , do not use this get a proper schedule and know what you are worming for.

There is , for example, no Tapeworm cover in this rotation, and no Encysted small strongly ( a real killer) cover either, so I do not think this is a good "rotation" at all, in fact the more I look at it the less I like it, please, do not use it!!

A faecal sample is always a good idea once a year- your Vet will do it for you but be sure to ask for a PROPER rundown on what is and is not there- a simple " your horses are OK" will NOT do- I would be very suspicious of anyone that said that a horse had no worms at all- all horse have some worms if they are alive!!

Remember you need to worm every eight weeks and not to use Moxidectin (Quest) it is a No No in Minis.
