It won't be long now.......new forum baby..

I went to the dr. today. I'm 2 cm's dilated.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as I had a very difficult delivery with my first son. Dr. called him a miracle baby as he was a very bad delivery and had the cord wrapped around his body and tied in two knots this after taking 3 hours of pushing, forceps and vacuum. Dr. feels this pregnancy is going very smoothly and will be different, but I can't help but be nervous.

I will keep everyone posted.

Oh..how exciting...I will NEVER forget the days just prior to delivering (have had 3 children)...they are so full of anticipation, excitement....I LOVED being pregnant and LOVED delivery day...I would rather have a baby than dental work!!! Silly huh??? I will always miss those special days...

Best of luck to you, Kim! My daughter has been 2 cm dilated for weeks now, she is just not progressing...she is overdue at this point and today we spent all day in the hospital while they tried to induce labor, to no avail.

My thoughts will be with you.

Thought for sure it would be today. I was having contractions starting at 1:30 until about 6 this morning. They stopped once I was on the way to the drs.(drs. office is right next to the hospital) They wanted me to check in with him instead of being admitted. Of course, I'm back home now and very tired.

Dr. thought maybe today or tomorrow, but since there has been no change it's probably going to be in the next week.

I understand your nervousness. I too had a difficult first baby but the second was like a cake walk.

I remember being so afraid to go into labor. You are already a step ahead as your doctor is aware of the last time and can take precautions for you.

I will have you in my thoughts. Let us know when it arrives! We will expect pictures too.
