Ok, you guys are soooooo going to get sick of these!!!

But I just have to!!!

Well, life was back to normal a bit for me today...after staying home with Moxie for 3 days, now that the pups were here, and all settled, today I went to work at the barn! I told Moxie I was going out and I'd be back in a bit (didn't tell her where I was going, coz I knew she wouldn't like not being able to go to the barn

). Unfortunately, Mom had to be away for a bit too, so she couldn't stay with her either. Mom met me at the door when I got home and told me that Moxie greeted her with her new toy

I said, what new toy??? I didn't give her the new toy yet..... My sister had brought some treats and a new toy yesterday for Moxie and I left them in a bag as I didn't think Moxie would be interested in her toys right now!!! Moxie had pulled it out of the bags (tags still attached). When I got home, she grabbed another toy! Took it in the whelping box with her!! LOL It was sooooooo cute!!!!

kathryn, that 3rd picture just did me in. moxie looks fantastic and the puppies are all so shiny and pretty and content. i'm afraid if i had them all here, i'd simply have to quit my job. since i can't do that, you better keep them for me, ok?

Yes we put clamps on all their belly buttons. The lady who was helping me out for the whelping had them as that's what she uses...most of them have fallen off now.

I thought the same thing!!!! She wanted to show her toys off to the kids....but I'm not too sure what she'll think of it when the kids start grabbing her toys and ripping them to shreds!!! LOL

She's been begging to play today too!!!

The pups sure do look plump don't they??

I'm not sure whether I should be supplementing them or not.....

I never supplemented pups unless they or the dam weren't thriving, but that's really something you should consult your vet about.

Thanks mininik!! And that was my thoughts on supplement too....I mean the pups look really, really good!! And Moxie is starting to bounce back a bit now too....she sure looks much better today than yesterday....but I am watching her and the pups very closely. (I am reluctant to go back to this vet at the moment, so I am looking for a different small animal vet)

What a great Mama, and a very pretty litter. They look so big...it is amazing that they all fit in Moxie, the poor thing. It is no wonder she looked like she needed a belly skate board there at the end. I am glad she and the pups are doing well after such a scary start. That says a lot for the care that you gave her
