These are some pictures I took last weekend during a snow storm

And of course Miss Independent, Lainey

And these were taken the other day....I bought ANOTHER dog bed....I won't count how many that is now (plus the 3 that I had to buy today, so everyone had a 'new' bed)

Lainey was the first in it

Then Delilah joined her

Then Moxie took over with Delilah

But little Jane stuck to the old bed

Yup! Even from the back, there is just something about that Lainey!

I am so glad to get the chance to watch her grow up, there is something about her.

Gosh Kathryn I love Lainey...she is SO pretty. Does she have a longer coat than the others? It looks so soft and lovely.
I just love that picture of Lainey with her back to me!!! Looks very model-ish!!

Yes, she does have a longer coat....it's what is called a glamour coat in Cardigans. Not a total fault, I mean it's not like a 'fluff', which do happen (maybe not as much as in Pems), but it is harder to finish than a normal coated dog. Mind you everyone I asked tells me they would take correct structure and a coat, over horrible structure and 'normal' coat. I will admit the coat is a pain in the rear....ALREADY!!!! It collects EVERYTHING, including snowballs.....but I guess that is the cost we pay for glamour!!!!

LMAO

But she is such a pretty girl!

I just LOVE these little babies!! Your place is starting to look like mine with all the dog beds...only I have them on a much larger scale. And I'm finding that the girls enjoy sleeping bags as opposed to dog beds...much cheaper for me and easier to wash anyway...lol....

I don't know if I've asked this question before, but can you please explain the difference between Cardigan and Pembroke? I'm totally

about that.

Loved all the pics!!

Ok, I'm not good at explaining it. The easiest is: Cardis have tails, Pems have no tails (except now some of them do, since tail docking is banned in the UK). Cardis tend to be slightly larger in height and slightly heavier in bone than a Pem. Cardis heads are larger-bigger ears, longer nose, not soo foxy looking like Pems tend to be.

But here are links to the Cardi Standard & the Pem Standard

Cardigan Welsh Corgi Standard

Pembroke Welsh Corgi Standard

This is a pem, they know no strangers, different structure and personality.
