Hi, Folks --

This morning I updated our website and thought I'd ask for input and suggestions

It's been a few years since I've done so! Not since I updated the site, but since I asked the community here for feedback

It was helpful last time and hope some of you can check the site out again for me

Hey Jill, I took a look at your site. I've been there before of course, and I really like it. I find the white background very pleasing and it makes the purple pop. I also like all the photos, pedigrees, and your whole set up. It's also nice that you list where your farm is located. There's a lot to like about your site. The only thing I found confusing was trying to get back to your Home Page. I could not find a navigation button to do that.

i couldnt find where to get to the home page either... and on your links page some of them didnt work when you clicked them.. I notced the one for pondlake stables mini foal blankets and clickked on it but it said page not found... that one caught my eye because i knwo the owner shes a lovely lady

Thanks ladies. I hadn't thought people would want to navigate back to the first / home page where I have he paragraph or so about the horses and a collage of some of them, but since you both point it out, it may be something I should add

. Do you know the current link for Pondlake's blankets? I love them as do our foals... and the vets get a kick out of them, too. I used to love tweaking the site, but haven't had as much time for it lately. I also wasn't to redo the pedigree charts for each individual horses' page. I've done that for the stallions, but not yet for the mares and geldings. Thanks again

Lovely Jill. Easy to get about. I loved your horse related quotes too. And thank you for putting pedigrees for the horses. Elias has to be THE cutest boy ever. And your Mum. She's beautiful and looks so young.

Jill, I have always liked your website. It's one of the better ones out there IMO. It's clean, elegant and easy to navigate and read. Content is well organized, lots of pictures, comprehensive. Informative and proud without being too braggy or "ducky". I visit it frequently just to see what's new. And of course, I love your horses and how you treat them (not a revolving door at your farm) Curious what website software you use...if you feel like sharing.

Well done!

Best, Mary

It looks great Jill...and of course since my favorite color is purple I love the pallette you've used.

I think your site looks polished, professional, easy to navigate and also friendly with the added addition of your family page. I have enjoyed watching your breeding program evolve thru the years. On a side note...kudos to you for juggling so many assets in your professional life!

Thanks so much, Mary and Cheyenne

Mary, I just use "Netscape Communicator", which is free, to do 99% of my website. I have also used Coffee Cup HTML, but the Netscape program is just so easy and it's about like using a word processor. You don't need to know anything technical to use it. I don't know if it's still available for download... everytime i get a new computer, the installation program for that is something I transfer because it's what I "need" to do the website.
