kitty missing....

I hope she comes home soon!

When I was little, our family cat was missing for a long time (a week or more, it seemed like a year). Then he showed back up! We think he maybe was closed in someone's storage shed and they were gone... something like that because he returned very hungry and thin.

I really hope Sami is home soon.

Still no kitty...

However, I have spoken with a few more neighbors, so there are a few more eyes watching for her. [We live so rural that our nearest neighbors are over a mile from here.] Also drove another 13 miles down the road the equine dentist left on; stopping to call for her at tree clusters and such.

Wish it had dawned on me sooner... I tried to call the "local" humane society (150 miles from here, but in the town that the equine dentist was headed to) today, but they are closed for the holiday. I did fill out their on-line missing pet form.

I also e-mailed my equine dentist, but she hasn't got back to me yet. She may still be on the road, so away from the computer.

Had a friend who's cat was missing for 6 months. Everytime I saw a cat that looked like hers I would call and tell her, but they were never the right one.

Until 6 months later she got a call from someone 30 miles away that had her cat. She still had her collar on, but said that it fell off in her hands when she looked at it to get the number on the tag. She was so lucky to have found her and very lucky the collar stayed on until that day. They think she got in the vehicle of someone that was doing work on their house that day.

I do hope you find you cat soon.
