I just saw the like button on one of the posts. I figured I would try it out. What it does is puts my facebook name on the forum saying that I like it. If you don't know my name you won't know it was me that liked it, since I use a username on the forum and not on facebook. Then on facebook it puts a post on that says that I liked a post on the FB forum and you can click on the link and it will take you to the post. Or there is another link that says something about the FB forum, and I am guessing it will take you to the main page of the forum. I didn't try it.

Just thought I"d let you all know how it works.

OH, I doubt I will use it to much. Most of my friends on facebook would probably care less about if I like a topic or not! LOL That and I don't want it to fill up my wall with topics that I like. I will continue to do as I always do, reply to the thread.

that's a great point Kim! I didn't realize the LB like button was affiliated with FB. I agree I don't want the LB stuff to transfer over to my FB. While my FB is 90% geared to my mini business (and my personal friends know this and put up with it) I'd like to keep the two separated as well (LB vs FB).

Is there no way to have a like button without it being connected to FB?

I also noticed the other day the "like LB on FB" at the right side of the comments/status section. Immediately after picking up on that, I noticed the users at the bottom of the page actually showed the word 'FACEBOOK'. I actually wondered about that ....

Thanks for the heads up, O So! Guess I won't be using the button either. I'd overwhelm my FB page in a hurry.

I wish you would have posted this yesterday, I hit the like button last night and it went into cyber space, or so I thought, until I checked my FB page today, and there it was. No harm done, just didn't know where it went.
