Lisa, I think about you frequently and pray for you often. How are you doing? Did you ever make a decision about the pancreas situation? Hope you are doing well...

Hi Kathy :saludando: How sweet of you to think about me! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. It means a lot to me that someone I never met would do that for me.

I haven't been here lately. Helping my OES first time Mommy raise a litter. They're now 2 weeks old, getting one of our Pugs through a C-section from having a dead puppy stuck  and the list goes on...lol

I have made the decision to put off a new pancreas for the time being. After talking with my endocrinologist last week, I'm even more sure of my decision. It just isn't worth risking the kidney that is working fine. Not an easy decision, but one I need to live with for now, at this point in my life.

Amanda, I'm so happy for you that all is well with your transplant. It's a wonderful feeling isn't it?

: I love it when the numbers all come back good! You take care and I hope you continue to do well.

Awww, sorry about the lost pup and the c-section! That must have been awful! Glad you are doing well on your good kidney. I know you had some very real concerns about getting a new pancreas. I just always think of you transplant recipients and continue to hope that you will remain healthy!! It must be an amazing thing to know someone shared something so special with you
