Sorry I missed this post right away.
Still no news, but I did turn off the phone so I could sleep earlier and missed one call. The Coast Guard is done w/search and rescue and working on recovery and investigation. The water was 47 degrees and survivability is good at 30 minutes or so, but very unlikely past a few hours and completely unlikely for sure 24 hours. They search beyond hope, but again can't continue forever, understandably, but I know how hard it is to let go of hope.
I just feel saddest for Jessica and Lake, losing someone that was part of their everday existence, and so close to them.
Martin seems to be doing ok, he is among his friends and the captain of his boat was quite close with Boots, (Craig) too, so they are having a remembrance time, talking about him and things he did or said, and sharing over the radio with those that are missing him. I think it's good for him, judging by our conversation last night, but I will be glad when he can come home, too.
Thank you for your thoughts and hopes, all.
Liz
