I made a reservation to attend the LKF foaling seminar and was wondering if anyone has attended their seminar in the past? I am excited about going and can' t wait to see Buckeroo.

We went last year and are booked to come again this year..........I cannot wait. I made hotel reservations this morning. You learn SO much, come with lots of questions.

I can't say enough about the information provided at the LKF foaling seminar. Robin does some very creative things to provide hands on demonstrations. I just had an emergency last week, and what I learned at the seminar was invaluable.

I can't agree more. I have been breeding since 1982 and learned so much. I took a ton of notes...and if like last year, you might have a foal born during the seminar......

Little King does a fantastic job....

Wish I could go but I have a mare due to close to the date. Dang it! I even have my Buckeroo daughter at LK for foal out and rebreed, I haven't even seen her yet. So much wish I could go to see her also.

I went last year. The information was invaluable! And the foaling kit I got while I was there went to good use. I was looking through the folder of information I got and I knew it had been useful because it has blood on it!lol That's when you're keeping something close at hand during foaling when it get spattered with blood.

I totally think everyone should go.

OMG Parmela! YOU were there last April? So were we! I can't believe we were in the same room and didn't get introduced - and then we find our way to you to purchase loverboy Merlin almost a year later! wow! Robin should have everyone stand up and introduce themselves at these gatherings.

I agree with everyone that this is truly an event not to pass up if you can help it. A weath of information and impressive demonstrations and hands-on lessons .... truly educational. We utilized a ton of thier instruction in our foaling season '09 and it was invaluable.

Afraid we won't make it this year as we have many mares already at 300 and several nearing 330 - so any day now. Thought about sending Holly without me but not only do I need her here -she'd hate to miss even one birth! LOL

Anyone going - please peek in on our 2 buckeroo daughters out there! We haven't seen them yet and one is already in the barn awaiting her due date of April 10th - maybe she'll be one you can watch foal on the 27th?? how cool would that be!? LOL That was the highlight last year - to see an actual live foaling during a foaling seminar - they couldn't have planned it better LOL

Enjoy all - you'll be glad you went!
