Yesterday we went to our local fair benifit show and had a great day, even with the rain. They offer a few mini classes in amoung the big horse classes. It is so funny to watch the big horses and how scared they are of the mini's and carts. All the little kids just love to come over to the mini's.
The judge was not the greatest but we are paying for the opinion of one person. There were 4 youth's there to show all day (all 4H'ers together in my club!!). Lizzie (my little girl) is one of the youngest had a great day. Her driving is coming along and even now really starting to let her mare extend.
I'm not sure if anyone else has seen cones but oh my is it fun. They set up a course that you have to go through sets of cones in order and each ball you knock down is 5 seconds added to your score. I don't know who loves it more, the drivers or the spectators!
Lizzie was suprised to learn that I was going to return to the ring and show our new boy Patches. We were the only adult mini. For our reinsmanship class (where I found out we were the only one) we drove alone. I then talked to all my 4H'ers and their parents to see if they minded combining me with them but judge us seperately (they are going for Year End Points so didn't want to screw them up) and they didn't mind. It was great being in the ring with them. I love this group of kids, they all work together and help each other.
Here are are few pictures.

Hope I didn't bore you all too much.
