This was fun today>Earlier about noon the Local ABC affiliate (channel 8) came to the farm to do a story on our maple syrup. I did a short interview and tapped a couple trees for the camera. While watching the Half Time show during the game the local ABC station ran a news update with upcoming stories. The feature story was a preview of the story on our maple syrup. The footage showed me tapping on of the trees. :saludando:

It was just on the local ABC but still kind of cool! Hope they don't plan on charging us Super Bowl advertising rates!

Wow how fun for you.......that is some excellent "free" advertising even if it is only local

: ...cannot wait to hear about the local hoards wanting your products.....so can I get some of that maple syrup before you become too famous :bgrin :bgrin

Of all the inteviews we have done here over the past 20 years this one has been by far the most watched. It is always fun to do them but this time seems like way more people saw it. On Monday the newspaper called to do a story. My wife gave did short interview for them. This morning the local Country radio station was airing a short story based on info from the tv and radio spots.

All this publicty won't up the price of syrup though but might get us a few more people to our open house on Maine Maple Sunday in late March. The last couple years we have been drawing 2500-3000 people that day always room for a few more!

Just read a book that was set in part on a farm producing maple syrup. Pretty involved process, I had no idea. Just imagined the sap dripping into buckets as I've seen pictures of in the past - learn something new every day lol. Hope your tv spots bring you lots of customers!
