Wow, don't know what happened to the body of the message!

Anyway, what it was supposed to say:

I have a friend who attends a local auction that is well known as a dumping ground for unwanted and/or unhealthy animals.

She was there last Thursday and a woman came into the ring riding a beautiful bay filly. The filly is probably 12 hands. The woman riding it was shall we say "hefty" and probably outweighed the filly.

This friend bought the filly (a 2 year old) for $50 and took her home. A vet was out Friday morning to do an evaluation on the filly and other than being severly malnourished, she is in pretty good health. He and my friend have set up a feeding program to get the filly on the road to recovery.

She already has people wanting to buy the filly as soon as she can get her healthy but she said she would do background and facility checks on any person that was interested before she would sell her.

She has also decided to try to rescue at least one animal per month from this auction.

I am proud to call her my friend.

what a wonderful woman! :aktion033: there are some real diamonds in the rough at those auctions.

Thank you to your friend for doing such a wonderful thing! :aktion033: What auction does she go to?

This is the kind of story I REALLY like reading.

PLEASE tell your friend how much we appreciate and admire what she is doing.

One horse at a time- sounds like a book to me- or at least a short story???

That is wonderful, tell her thank you from all of us horse lovers, and from the horses too. You hit the nail on the head with your slogan, as you know you can move mountains, but you have to do it one rock at a time. She is doing the same thing and it is very heartwarming.
