I have a minature steer about the same size as the ponies. Loves Weetbix. Sweet little fellow.

The problem is his horns. They curl under and have now grown so that they are about to touch his lovely head.

Should I get a vet to sedate him etc or is there another way?

There are other ways that ranchers use, but you'll probably be happier having a vet take a look and do what is needed to keep his horns from causing problems.
