Well, I haven't posted since Jan 26th because sadly my mother didn't respond well to the de tox program and she had to be rushed to ICU and stayed for a week and passed away very peacefully last Wed. Feb 8th at 2:15 am. We had her funeral service in Shreveport, La this past Saturday. We are back at home now and I'll return to work tomorrow.
It's still so hard to believe that mom is gone. She was 80 and enjoyed her life and the lives of her 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. You can see her slide show at www.mem.com under the name Geraldine Schwartz.
She will be missed dearly.
Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts.
I also wanted to share that since we've been gone for 2 weeks my wonderful neighbors have taken care of my 2 minis. Well when we got home yesterday around 5:30pm, James and I went into the corral and they really seemed to sense our grief! They wanted to stay close to us, lifting their front leg and placing it on my leg as I was kneeling down and kinda hugging us?? I strongly believe God uses all of His creation to speak to us in times of need. It was just another memory I'll have of my mom and her passing.
God Bless all of you.
