Mouse will go see the vet tomorrow to find out what the little hernia is on her side. I spoke to the farrier and he can't get to her until next week sometime unless he gets a cancelation this weekend. I want to stick with him because he is good and deals with spooky horses a lot. With her not liking to be touched behind her flanks, we need someone that knows how to handle her without getting anyone hurt, including her.
She is really starting to perk up! She is becoming much more vocal and today when I turned my herd out, she said she wanted to go too. I didn't let her because I don't feel confident in being able to catch her yet. She is getting more and more curious about who I am and has almost touched me several times. I talk to her all the time I'm around her so she knows what is happening.
Looking at her "good" eye, there was a little bit of cloud to it but the more she eats, it seems it is clearing up. Not sure if there is a connection there. She is actually putting on a little weight and is all ready starting to really shine. She is going to be a beautiful girl when she gets back up on top. Too bad she had to have such a rough start.
