Having raised a beautiful daughter whom I love with all my heart I must say there are some differences. First she never chewed up my stuff. Luckily for me she didn't leave surprises on the carpet. She didn't leave her fur on everything she came in contaact with. She did how ever leave her muddy paw prints on me.
My fur kids are very very special to me. Nothing like cleaning the barn with their help only to have one decide as soon as I'm done its too clean and needs to be dirtied right away again. Or like yesterday we brought them all out and vacuumed them. Oh they were so pretty and clean until they got to the dirt again.
Recently my daughter told me that this dragon thingy at Petsmart was an indestructable toy and her two dogs love them. Yep spent the money and bought one for Bubba. Turns out only the outside cloth is indestructable. Bubba tore its inards out in record time.
If you can picture this, we all went into town one day. Shorty lived downstairs with us as that was where our bedroom was. We came home one day, came down the stairs, Vicky turned the light on and there was shorty with the huge Portland yellow pages completed shredded standing in the middle of it, phone was off the hook and on the floor. Without a second thought my lovely daughter says,
Ha couldn't find anyone who cared right? I laughed so hard I hurt but wasn't laughing when I had to clean up the mess. Oh and he looked so innocent. If the phone rang and we didn't answer it right away he would do it, I believe to stop that horrible ringing sound. Sure got us some comments from those who called however. Try explaining to someone that it wasn't you grunting and snorting into the phone.
So once again to all you fur moms out there.
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
