I am very new at this .... we got a line on a mare and mini in need of help so we went to see them ..when we got there we discovered that the mini had been hit repeatedly with a 2x4 she has a blind eye now and is so afraid of people ..I have another mini and was in hopes to give my Tyler a good freind .. but he wants nothing to do with her.. she is about 2 yrs old and mouse colored ..would dearly love to find her a good home where someone will take the time to love her as she needs to be loved I cannot ...I have a job that keeps me away alot and she needs what i cant give her....

Mouse is in southern colorado where no mini rescues live I have tried to find places here but to no avail have been rescuing big horses now over 8 yrs and have seen some very awful things come thru my gates but with love they found new homes we are not just in the horses though we rescue every thing right down to turtles and birds lol I love what we do and in hopes of getting a much needed and bigger place soon..I was so happy to find lilbegginings and hope maybe in the future i can help by fostering more horses .

We have a neighbor that had a deal go wrong with a mini.. (the horse was sold twice) and she ended up not getting the horse. If the mini could hitch a ride back east someplace, I could go pick it up. These people have just one acre, don't have any other horses, (we are a couple of doors over), and would get 110% of their attention. I have no clue how much the cost to transport, but I'd rather they put what money they were going to pay into blankets, toys, and medical attention for the mini.

We might be too far away for us to help, but if you have any ideas, please e-mail me... The woman works at the local feed store and tack shop, and her retired neighbors were all farmers that retired and grew up with horses.

mouse lives with me now here .. I could not leave her nor her barn mate where they were ...the big mare we were told she was stood an beat with a wire whip (mind you we got these horses from another family that cared first so in turn they both were saved by a good person ..) we got them thru just short of a vet bill the big mare was choking on feed when we got there and of course we intervined .we bought both horses an hauled them both home that night the mini is alot better now then when we got her ..we can go into her pen now an she doesnt take the fence .we have had mouse now 2 months .
