muscle spasms

My mare seems to be having some sort of muscle spasm or something right here under my fingers. What muscle would that be, does anyone know? I tried google but I wasn't sure.

Do you mean that you see the muscle twitching? If so, that's just something that happens once in awhile. Have you ever had a muscle twitch yourself? I've had it in my shoulder or leg once in awhile. Not sure why, it twitches/jumps for a bit and then goes away again. It's kind of annoying but not painful. Haven't had that happen in years--I'd forgotten about it until I read this.

I see it jumping around and feel it thumping under my hand. I was going to search how to massage that muscle but I can't figure out which one it's supposed to be. Google kind of says there are 2 that connect there. It's not hurting her any I'm just trying to be nice to her.
