Ohh he is handsome, love all the hair. I just got into rabbits a few months ago and tuesday we bred out first 2 does with a friends buck, looking forward to our first bunny babies.

He is handsome!

OH! He's pretty! I didn't have a clue what a "Jersey Wolly Buck" was... I was thinking of some sort of animal in the deer family, LOL. The only long hair rabbits I've seen are Angoras, which I use to have a pair of silvers. They are beautiful. I'm going to have to see if I can search some photos and description on your breed, you've got me really curious!

These were our two foundation bucks.

Jersey woolies are such laid back rabbits, for those who don't know about them they are a small angora type. both my bucks weighed righ near 3 lbs. The wool isn't terrible to manage once they are mature.

Back when I raised Netherland Dwarfs I used tohave some Jersey Wooly. They were a great breed and I loved them, but they wer ealways hard for me to sell to pet homes, not many people wanted to look after all that hair! I would try and tell them that a mature coat is easy to take care of, but they were not convinced!

I now raise Holland Lops, another great breed.

He is out of Jen's Mango ® (Tortoise Shell) X PL's Peek-A-Boo (Siamese Sable)

Here are all the rabbits that we raise Netherland Dwarfs, Holland Lops, Jersey Woolies & Lutinos. (Lutinos are the new breed in the usa)

We also dabble a little in New Zealand Reds.

If you are wondering what are Lutinos are,

New to the USA, being first imported from Denmark in 2005 by Bob Whitman of Rare Bits & Pieces Rabbitry. They are an Orange dwarf with beautiful red eyes. The first Lutinos appeared in Denmark out of a litter of 2 Harlequin dwarfs.

Here is our rabbitry website.

Very cute bun!

I have a grey female Jersey wooly. I love her. She is laid back. Easy to groom(when kept up with) and care for.

I solved that problem and never sold to pet homes

Sorry, I could not in a million imagine eating my Holland Lops...they look to much like puppies!
