Why??
Because this little filly is priceless!!!!!
I would like to announce that CMHR has honored me by allowing me to adopt Little Miss Tennessee and have allowed me to give this very special little filly a permanent home.
Little Miss Tennessee was rescued from deaths door by CMHR and you can read her story here. Little Miss Tennessee
The link will take you to their current rescues and Ms TN is at the top. You can also see her pictures there.
I am happy to say she is doing great!!! Gaining weight, has a little hop in her step now and is ready to come home.
Come home, I can't tell you how happy that makes me feel. For me as much for her. Will be picking her up in a few weeks and I promise you all lots of pictures of the trip and also when she settles in her own, well bedded stall with hay/beet pulp mash, fresh hay and fresh water.
For protection reasons, I won't add a whole lot of information.
But when CMHR posted her story I was so mad, I could hardly stand it. I emailed all at CMHR within minutes. Many horses have touched my heart, but this little girl tore my heart to pieces, and providing her with a permanent home was the only way to put it back together. And she has already done that too! I felt it was about time I put my money where my mouth was and she was just the right horse to do that with. I can complain until the cows come home about the condition of any animal, but the actual complaint means nothing to that one horse. I hope my actions do mean something to this one horse.
I can not thank her foster home enough for all their care and love to get her back on the right track.
Myself, my vet, and my farrier are ready!
I can't thank CMHR and all it's members for caring enough to go through the emotions they must endure to help all the horses just like Little Miss Tennessee.
I am so very very excited! It could be a long few weeks.
Thanks for allowing me to share this very very special little girl.
