Some of you remember me posting about my precious Toy Fox Terrier "Teo" who is just the sweetest little (5lbs) dog. I heard from his breeder two weeks ago that his dam was retired from breeding, spayed and looking for a home. How could I say no? I drove 3 hrs (one way) to meet here for a trial over the weekend, needless to say I knew by the time we got home she was going to stay.

So this is my little Teo's mama, I changed her name to Tali, it was Daily (I didn't like it, and she is responding to Tali). She is 8 years old, anybody who is able to read animals (communicate) and wants to fill me in, please do! I think she is settling in here remarkably well considering her age and the fact that she wasn't socialized much.

Here she is the day I brought her home:

And snuggling with me and Teo on the sofa yesterday:

Congrats on your new family member!

Liz R.

Thanks, I was a little nervous about adding a second dog, but so far it's working out really well! Housebreaking will be fun, but so far she is doing pretty good. It's when I forget to get her outside at the right time that she goes in the house. It's more a matter of retraining me right now, LOL!

Kim,

I suspect your new little lady feels she's died and gone to doggy heaven! Her son enjoys her companionship but I suspect is also a little jealous of the attention from you.

Thanks Miniv, I think you are right, when Tali seems to love it here! Teo ignores her for the most part, which I just figured out is his way of saying he's jealous.
