O So and I are stars!!

Our local news station was doing a promo for the SHA stables that I take O So to. I decided to take O So down there to check things out! He was a hit. I almost feel bad because the anchor did more things with O So then the rest of the horses! LOL He kind of stole the show!

I thought they had more links. They did 4 spots while I was there and O So was in everyone. The anchor ended up holding O So himself! LOL Hopefully they will ad the rest of the spots as the day goes on. I will update if they do!

Ahhh I love it!! Good job O So!

Quite a few years ago we used to let a nearby zoo take 2 broodmares in the spring and foal them out-it was so their students and helpers could learn and get a better feel for foaling and just the whole birthing process before moving on to the exotics. One of the local news stations happened to be there right when a mare foaled (it was actually Mars Rosebud now owned by Maple Hollow Miniatures on here) and she completely stole the spotlight. The news station was doing a piece on the zoo opening back up in the spring, but it ended up being just about the mare and her new foal.

We were very excited!

My hubby said he saw all the spots and he could hear the guy say "He bit me"! LOL O So nipped him on the calf of his leg! It really got everyone laughing, but again, it took away from what they were shooting. LOL They were supposed to shoot the "trick" horses and when the guy said Ouch, the camera man went back toward O So. LOL I want to see it so bad, but so far there is only the one spot on their site. I am really kicking myself for not setting up my DVR this morning. Ugghh

I can buy the segment, but they want 25 bucks for a dvd of it. Ouch, lot of money for a 10 minutes of fame spot! LOL

back when my daughter was in high school and in horse 4-H, the did a whole newspaper article about her and her horse (who I now care for) Starfire (and me, too, as "mom")...The reporter and photographer followed us around all day, watched her show in her classes and quoted things we said...LOL! It was kind of neat to be "in the news"...LOL!
