As far as I know, nobody went!

Clickmini said she heard there were some 85 horses, mostly Shetlands?

Amy went to the TREC at Happ's, Susanne stayed home for lack of transportation, Liz's new foals weren't registered in time, I stayed home with an ouchy horse, and most the others I know said they weren't going due to financial reasons (which of course played into it for the rest of us too). I haven't talked to anyone else but it seemed like no one here was going which is really sad. Maybe next year if they drop the prices a bit and the economy improves!

Yes, it was a small show - right around 90 horses and ponies. It was a good mix of both, still more mini's than ponies, but what was there was definitely of high quality. Congratulations to Randy & Leslie Grimes of Winbreaker Ponies on achieving Best of Gold with Boss Man - he is truly spectacular. There was great competition and the judges were wonderful. The facility continues to be the best in the Northwest - Mario & Dennis continue to ensure the footing is the best anywhere I have even been. Major DeFoe has committed to do the show again next year and is looking at things to lower the cost of stalls. The show will have a new name next year as one thing the hurt it this year was folks looking on line for entry forms ended up at the old website - with no link provided to the Oregon Horse Center website. So next year a great show with a new name at the best show facility in the Northwest - hopefully the ecconomy will continue to get better and we will have a bigger show. Congratulations and thank you to all that attended.

I was very disappointed as my coggins and health papers did not come back in time to leave for the show. Due to the fact the vet had an emergency and didnt make it to take the blood.

Hopefully next year Ill be there with some minis.

Personally I think it might have had more to do with management change and people being unsure if it would be the same quality and calibur of show as before then the economy.

Those I talked to thought it was a good show and had a lot of fun I am sure that alone will make a big difference next year

Is anyone going to give us any results? I understand numbers were down, but who placed where? Inquiring minds need to know!

I have only talked to Lori Guglielmo of Heart L Ranch and she had a wonderful show doing very well in halter and driving!
